The idea is for Lecturesonline.org to "eventually become a giant searchable database of thousands of digitized academic lectures, educational pages, graphs, figures, charts, and research papers." Divided into Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Humanities, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Social Sciences.

For example, take the bee: in Danish and Estonian, the bee says "summm-summm," while in Bengali it says "bhonbhon," and "bunbun" in Japanese. Didn't know that, did you?

Creative Quotations
Intrigued by the very URL of this site (www.bemorecreative.com), I had to check it out. One of the largest quotation sites on the Web, you can search by nationality and profession for quotes from famous people. All quotes are linked to :one of five components of creativity: Foraging, Reflecting, Adopting, Nurturing, and Knuckling down." Food for thought. (NB: not all buttons on the page work using the Opera browser; check Netscape or IE as well.)
