This is the latest edition of the Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy, published in April 1999. Professor Andreas Lixl from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (USA) has created a marvelous gateway for German studies. Literature, museums, Germanistik - there is even a page for the younger set: visit Kinderweb, with its links organized by age group.

Homesick for a voice from home? MIT's list of over 8000 radio stations on the Web should help. Search for a station, or locate one in your area. There are even "Bitcasters" - stations broadcasting live on the Internet - from all over the world.
